accuracy and completeness of product and service documentation, software, and
hardware are equally important.
Transoffshore has a comprehensive software quality assurance plan, which is
used to ensure quality and productivity and is an integral part of each project
executed by Transoffshore. The reviews are conducted by Quality Assurance teams
consisting of experts from various disciplines, such as Application Areas, System
Software and Operations Management.
In addition to the External Quality
Assurance Group, which performs quality checks at planned milestones, the project
will have an internal Quality Assurance Coordinator who is responsible for ensuring
overall quality on a day-to-day basis.
The specific activities undertaken for ensuring quality are as follows :
Project
plan review at startup and during the execution of the assignment.
Review
of system requirement specifications and all design documents.
Code
walkthroughs will be carried out on a regular basis by the Project.
Leader and the Systems Analysts to ensure quality as well as to correct any
potential problems. These will be further checked and coordinated by the
internal quality assurance person.
Review
of the test results for accuracy. The results will be matched with the acceptance
test results.
